Billing
Billing has three tabs: Plans, Usage, and Invoices.
Plans and paying
Pick a plan, monthly or yearly (yearly is discounted; prices are net, VAT is shown for your situation before checkout). Payment runs through Stripe Checkout; the card portal ("manage card", cancellation) is one click from the same page. Switching between paid plans prorates on the live subscription: you pay the difference now and the renewal date stays.
Downgrading to Free is self-serve: with a live subscription it takes effect at the end of the paid period; without one, immediately.
Three or fewer hosts is free, permanently. Paid plans differ in quotas (hosts, APM sites, RUM volume, log retention and search depth, status pages) and in features (phone-call alerting, integrations, the API, deeper capabilities). What your plan does not include simply does not appear in the console, and quota-gated buttons state the price of the click before you confirm anything.
Agencies run on their own plan with client workspaces and wholesale billing; that whole model has its own page.
Usage
The Usage tab shows every axis your plan meters, live: hosts, monitored sites (with the redirect-only domains counted apart, so you can see them), external checks, SNMP devices, running container groups (stopped containers are free, and VMs with their own agent count as hosts, not containers), APM-enabled sites, RUM views this month, log volume, network flow volume, status pages, answered phone calls. Each axis shows where you stand against the quota, so an invoice is never a surprise.
Overage past a quota is billed per unit at your plan's rate (cheaper plans pay more per extra unit; the add-ons card shows your exact prices). The two volume axes, logs and flows, meter the month's average and bill extras in 5 GB blocks. Overage requires a card on file: free workspaces hit a hard wall instead of accumulating charges.
Phone calls
Phone alerting is metered per answered call: a call that rang out, was busy or failed to connect costs nothing, and verification calls never count. Each plan with phone alerting includes a number of answered calls per billing cycle; the Usage tab shows how many are used and how many are left. Beyond the included calls you decide how much more you are willing to spend: a call budget in euro per cycle, with presets and a custom amount up to a ceiling, that you set on the same card. Owners are told when the cycle reaches 80% and 100% of the budget; at 100% calls stop and every other channel keeps delivering. The budget only exists with a card on file (or, for a workspace managed by an agency, is set by the agency in its Clients view and billed to the agency at wholesale); without one, the included calls are the limit. The per-call price is on the pricing page.
Invoices
Every charge produces an invoice row with a PDF, issued by Wakora OÜ, the Estonian company behind the service, with its VAT number on every invoice. VAT follows your legal details: fill the company details in the Invoices tab (country, VAT ID for EU businesses); a valid EU VAT ID outside Estonia reverse-charges the tax, private customers pay their applicable rate, and the invoice states the basis either way. VAT IDs are verified against the EU registry in the background; an unreachable registry shows as "pending", never as "invalid".
